Hype: Mix-and-match flip-flops and Fourth of July themed hair care

FLOP INTO THE FOURTH

Cute sun dress, check. Sparklers and a barbecue invitation, check. This July 4th, Switch Flops wants you to celebrate completely in style with its Independence Day-themed flip flops.

If you like to dress in red, white and blue these could work any (warm) time of the year, or the brand has many other color options to choose from. Go to Switchflops.com, pick your base shoe (which come in three styles and a variety of base colors) then choose the color straps you want, mixing and matching as much as you want as they're just additions you can easily take on and off – as many times as you want.

If you're looking for something for that July 4th barbecue, we like the navy Lulu flip flop with the Georgia strap (there's many red, white and blue themed ones from which to choose). Or, you can start with the white Taylor wedge. The Lulu flop starts at $35, while the Taylor is $39, with each additional strap coming in at $12.

INDEPENDENCE BATHE

All that Independence day celebrating have you all sweaty and ready to wash off? Clean your locks with LUSH's red, white and blue –themed solid shampoo or American Cream conditioner.

The solid shampoos aim to do the same job as any regular store-bought liquid: make your locks look healthy, shiny and full. But the best part is since they're not liquid they're perfect for travel. To keep with the day's theme pick it up in Cinnamon (red), which is supposed to stimulate the challenged scalp; Seanick (blue), which boasts the ability to volumize; or Ultimate Shine (white), which is pretty self explanatory.

The solid shampoos are $9.25 each, while the American Cream conditioner, described as milkshake-inspired, is $26.95 for a 16.9-ounce bottle.
