Sonata Turbo's speed secrets slowly released

Autoblog is in South Korea test-driving Hyundai's upcoming Sonata Turbo, and while the Web site can't reveal anything about the driving experience, it has discovered one nugget. Hyundai told the assembled media at the event that not only will the Turbo get similar mileage to the regular four-cylinder engine -- 22/34 mpg city/highway -- but that it will scoot to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds.

While that's not as fast as some V-6 counterparts, it is close and the fact that the mileage is so high makes up for it.
